We provide drywall estimating services for the following areas:
Structural Build-Outs, Tenant Finish, Multi-Family projects and drywall on wood housing and single family homes.

Below is a brief break-out of what we look at for in each type of project we do. It is not all inclusive as each project has it's own unique properties, but this is a minimum of what we look for in every project we do.

Core and Shell

What we check for

  • -  Spec sections 5, 7, and 9
  • -  Exterior stud size, flange size, gauge,  and wind load ratings
  • -  Load bearing and non-load bearing walls
  • -  Attachment and slide clips
  • -  Jack and king stud location along with the header requirements for each opening
  • -  Exterior sheathing for types and thickness
  • -  Tyvek building wrap
  • -  Thermal insulation
  • -  Shaft wall requirements
  • -  Locations of all restrooms, elevator shafts, corridors and lobby areas
  • -  Backing if requested for your bid
  • -  Locations of any interior drywall and levels of finish
  • -  Acoustical ceilings if requested for your bid
  • -  Exterior high reach equipment

Build-Out

What we check for

  • -  Spec sections 5, 7, and 9
  • -  Exterior stud size, flange size, gauge, and wind load ratings
  • -  Load bearing and non-load bearing walls
  • -   Attachment and slide clips
  • -  Jack and king stud location along with the header requirements for each opening
  • -  Exterior sheathing for types and thickness
  • -  Tyvek building wrap
  • -  Thermal insulation

  • -  Studs size and gauges for all interior partitions and hard lids
  • -  Backing if requested for your bid

Tenant Finish

What we check for

  • -  Spec sections  7 and 9
  • -  Interior deck walls, thru grid walls, under grid walls
  • -  Studs size and gauges for all interior partitions and hard lids
  • -  Backing if requested for your bid
  • -  Sound batt insulation
  • -  Levels of finish
  • -  Acoustical ceilings if requested for your bid
  • -  Interior high reach equipment

Multi-Family

What we check for

  • -  Spec sections 5, 7, 9, and 23
  • -  Stud size, gauge and wind load ratings if framing is required
  • -  Each jack and king stud location along with the header requirements for each opening if framing is required
  • -  Sheathing for type and thickness on our framed walls only
  • -  Tyvek building wrap on our walls only
  • -  Shaft wall requirements
  • -  All wall types verified for U.L. or GA listings
  • -  All ceiling types verified for U.L. or GA listings
  • -  Verify any double layer conditions and RC-1 locations at walls and ceilings
  • -   Locations of all drops if framing is required.
  • -  In wall draft stopping
  • -  Attic draft stops, we recommend you exclude these
  • -  Shear nailing
  • -  Acoustic and fire caulking
  • -  Levels of finish
  • -  Texture type
  • -  Prime before priming if requested for your bid
  • -  Acoustical ceilings if requested for your bid
  • -  Exterior and interior high reach equipment

Housing Projects

What we check for

  • -  Spec section 9
  • -  1/2" sag resistant drywall at ceillings
  • -  1/2" regular drywall at walls
  • -  1/2" moisture resistant at wet areas
  • -  1/2" durock or densShield at tubs and showers
  • -  5/8" drywall at garage
  • -  RC-1 channel at garage ceiling if required
  • -  Straight corner bead or bullnose
  • -  Texture
  • -  Prime before texture if requested for your bid
  • -  Scrap haul off

Note: Please include any special pricing quotes you have per project.

Note: We only price the steel framing for the project, we do not price wood framing. We do not price insulation unless requested by you.

Single Family Housing

What we check for

  • -  Spec section 9
  • -  1/2" sag resistant drywall at ceillings
  • -  1/2" regular drywall at walls
  • -  1/2" moisture resistant at wet areas
  • -  1/2" durock or densShield at tubs and showers
  • -  5/8" drywall at garage
